  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

IP Allowlisting

IP Allowlists give you greater control over your ODBC accounts when they are used to access your Vantagepoint data in the cloud.

You can specify a range of IP addresses or an entire subnet that is allowed to access your data through the ODBC service. This enables you to restrict unauthorized access to your data by controlling where the traffic is allowed to originate from.

To leverage IP allowlisting, you must create a case with Deltek Support Services to identify the IP addresses to include in the allowlist.
  • Typically, you specify the public IP address or range of IP addresses for the customer’s firewall or internet service provider. Coordinate with your company's IT department to determine this information.
  • If you have a dynamic IP address, Deltek recommends that you not enable this optional feature, unless you can control the range of IP addresses in the dynamic assignment pool.
  • Your company's Cloud Administrator can update or remove IP allowlisting at any time.
